Sustainability is
in our DNA!

Sustainability has always been of great focus in the organisation, but to increase it even further, a program “Together for a Sustainable Future” was initiated.

Sustainability Focus Areas

The principal objective of the program “Together for a Sustainable Future”, is to increase the organisational focus on reducing our Global Footprint, by concentrating even more on the following elements:

Local and responsible Sourcing

  • -An overall Supply Chain closer to the factory.
  • -Have more ESG conscious suppliers.
  • -An increased selection of Certified raw materials.

Responsible Manufacturing

  • -Improve the Manufacturing practices to reduce waste and lower emissions.
  • -Increase the usage of Renewable energy or Biofuel cogeneration to reduce the environmental impact of the operations.

Product Stewardship

  • -Increased Recycled & Recyclable materials for product & packaging components.
  • -Increased Product Lifetime, but also increased circularity of the product components at the end of life.

Cradle to Cradle®

Cradle to Cradle (C2C) product certification assesses products for sustainability across five categories: material health, material reutilization, renewable energy, water stewardship, and social fairness. It promotes circular design, ensuring products are safe, recyclable, and responsibly made, with certification levels from Basic to Platinum based on environmental and social impact.

EU Ecolabel

The EU Ecolabel for furniture certifies products with low environmental impact, assessing sustainability across raw materials, production, chemical use, durability, and recyclability. It ensures reduced emissions, responsible sourcing (e.g., sustainable wood), and strict limits on hazardous substances, promoting eco-friendly, high-quality furniture that meets rigorous EU environmental standards.

PEFC

The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) ensures sustainable forest management through independent certification. It guarantees wood and paper products come from responsibly managed forests, promoting biodiversity, fair labor practices, and reduced environmental impact. PEFC certification supports ethical sourcing and global forest conservation efforts.
