Why is it important?
Certain environments, such as Clinics, Laboratories and Hospitals, require products that do not promote the propagation of microbes such as bacteria and mould. It has been with these needs in mind that we have developed and produce this Visual Communication Products.

This technology reduces the number of microbes and prevents microbe growth.
Odours Shield
These products having less microbes, consequently have a reduced potential of gaining unpleasant odours.
Staining Elimination
These products having less microbes consequently have a reduced potential for staining.
Surface Protection
With a clean surface, free of microbes, the surface has less degradation, increasing the product's lifetime.
The reality in detail
To assure our customers of the quality of these products, the surface components of these products have been tested in Biocote's Laboratories according to ISO 22196:2011 and have achieved at least the BioCote® minimum antibacterial performance requirement.

Antimicrobial Ceramic Whiteboard
Incorporates Silver Phosphate Glass, a biocide for polymerised material, and Silver (CAS7440-22-4) with the relevant product type PT2 on the ceramic steel, to prevent microbial growth.
